not unless you had somehow torn your vagina -- and you would probably have noticed bleeding after that. A "lost" tampon often produces a discharge and odor, too
or is it more likely to be a >fibroid or tumor?

yes
(I have a doctor's appt. next week.)
a visit to the gyn is exactly whta is in order now. This may simply be a vaginal cyst
