Hi,

I've posted here in the past, and I appreciate the feedback I've recieved from the docs. I'm asking to pick your minds again.

I have a lot of medical problems. I was diagnosed with endo in Dec 99, had 2 surgeries, last one removed my rt ovary. I have had profound weight gain, I'm now 5'8" and 170lbs.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in March. LH 10, FSH 3, Estrogen 190, Testerone 66. I had a MRI pituitary scan with contrast. They found a tumor, 8mm x 6mm. My doc is still convinced my dizzyness, weight gain, severe fatigue and migraines were the PCOS and classified the tumor as non-functional.

I've been on Glucophage for 2 months. I was upped to 2000mg 3 weeks ago. I saw my endocrinologist Thursday because of vertigo . She told me I have positional vertigo and there is nothing that can be done. I was weighed and literately haven't lost a pound. I'm eating under 150 carbs and little sugar a day. I eat very little, currently under 500 calories a day. I work out 3-4 hours a week. I go back in June and if I haven't lost weight, she wants me on Meridia.

After having one more permanent health problem, I have been plunged into profound despair. I saw a therapist and talked to a psychiatrist tonight (he teaches at the University of Colorado at Denver med school). He listened to my medical problems and wants to have me medically reevaulated. He thinks the vertigo could be related to the tumor and that my profound depression with hormonal imbalances. I'm a rape crisis counselor. I'm a very stable person. This feeling like I can't cope, can't function is not like me.

Thoughts?
