Kelly Shanahan, MD, : "Re: Abdominal/Vaginal pain" I have had recent abdominal cramping and bloating and occasional pain as well. The pain was once so bad after sex that I went to the emergency room. They simply gave me a shot of gravol and sent me home. Upon self-examination, it feels like I may have a small"finger-like" growth in my vagina, near the cervix. Is it possible to have a "lost" tampon that the skin has actually grown over? or is it more likely to be a fibroid or tumor? (I have a doctor's appt. next week.) Next message: M.
