Loestrin and hair loss?? I plan to go on Loestrin at the end of the month to prevent ovarian cysts. My prescription says Loestrin fe 1-0.02 mg, does this mean it's Loestrin 1/20? I am 27 and have been experiencing hair thinning over the past 8-9 months, for no known cause according to doctors. I have seen postings elsewhere that have said that Loestrin is not one of the "hair friendly" BCPs as it is one of the most androgenic. And I have read that it has caused hair loss.
