Yeast again???From: AMD (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 14 May 2001 22:58:25 -0500 (CDT)
About 10 days ago I treated a yeast infection with OTC vagistat-1. I had the classic white clumps of junk, which actually increased for the first couple days after treatment. All was well for a few days. Now (Monday), I am developing an increasing itch and discharge again, although the discharge is not nearly as nasty as it was before -- no huge clumps of stuff. This started within a day or two after having sex for the first time after the previous treatment. Should I try another round of vagistat, another OTC treatment, or call the doc? Is it possible to have another yeast infection this soon? I am expecting my period this week -- should I wait that out and see if the discomfort goes away? Is there any point trying to diagnose or treat a vaginal infection during your period? A.
