Early Pregnancy and Progesterone.

I'm a past unexplained infertility patient. After 10 years my body seems to be right on. This is my second natural pregnancy in the past two years. I have two children, two pregnancies. First uncomplicated, second Placenta abruptia(sp) at 7 weeks, took till 16 weeks for the blood clot to dissipate completely, baby was fine. With the second pregnancy my Dr. placed me on progesterone suppositories for 12 weeks, 25mg and a baby aspirin a day. I've been looking alot up on the progesterone and find that the synthetic isn't really good for the baby. Risk of mascalinization in female babies (possibly) I am now just 5 weeks pregnant. Since my previous are boys I'm concerned that this one could be a girl. I have had no previous miscarriages that we know of, Progest. levels during infertility Tx were good, with and without meds. I asked the pharm if this suppository was synth. he said yes. Do I really need it? Can it hurt my baby at that dosage? What about the baby aspirin a day? My Dr. assures me my abruptia last preg. was isolated, but could it have been aggravated with the baby aspirin? Or is it quite harmless? Thank you in advance for your time. Janine
