Hi, I have been put on birth control pills to control my periods and I have been taking them for about two weeks and I am still having heavy periods. I have tried to call my doctor but he just gives me the run around and told me to give it three months for my period to control itself but I am really, really worried because the amount of periods I am having. Is this normal and should I try to make my doctor listen to me. By the way I did have my TSH level measured and according to him they are normal. I am just so tired of all of this and very, very concerned. Please can someone help me. Thanks.
