after reading this, i sonder if THAT's what i have. i just returned
from west africa, and while there, i developed a bump on the front wall
of my vagina. my gynecologist said it was just scar tissue from an old
infection. however, when the bump started, so did a cycle of
pain/inflammation. each month (not related to my period), the lips of
my vagina swell up and are painful. there is a little,
whitish/grayish,smooth bump inside the left lip which swells up during
this time. it's irritating to sit or put my legs together. what could
this be? my doctors keep telling me there's nothing wrong - but i
strongly disagree! i only had protected sex while in WA, but maybe I
still could have caught something??
