I wouldn't worry about it, I am sure it happens more than most people would think. I absolutely dread going to the gyn. every time, and I have been going for about 8 years or so. Its one of the most uncomfortable situations you can possibly be in and over time, you'll get a little more used to it. Just keep in mind that it doesn't hurt, and your Dr. has done this a million times. I think that next time I go to the gyn I will be a lot less nervous....I had a miscarriage last month and had to go to the hospital twice while I was bleeding very heavily. I had to be examined by men both times, which makes me so uncomfortable, I have no idea why. But, next time I have a regular old gyn appointment with my female Dr, I think I will be much more relaxed. Don't worry, it will get better. Try again. The good thing is, you are a virgin and its not going to be a big deal if you wait a little while. Good luck.
