Spotting can be caused by a number of reasons... usually if you are on the pill occasional spotting is normal, especially if you have not been on the pill very long. Spotting and irregular periods can also occur if you are stressed, or traumatized. If you are worried though, or if the spotting continues, you can always call your obgyn to be safe!
