Sarah, This may very well be associated with the diagnosis of Endometriosis. I would explain some of my pain prior to my surgeries as someone going up in through the vagina, which of course caused intense vaginal pain, only for them to go up and squeeze my uterus in a vice!!!!!!! Sometimes it would also feel like someone was squeezing out a soaking wet towel!!! If it is more than you can tolerate, call the MD or go to the ER. If you feel you need reassurance, call the MD. You might just want to call anyway to let him/her know what is happening. Good luck with your surgery!! Let us know how things turned out for you.
