Hello Drs., My situation is I am three days late for my period, I took two HPT's and they both came back positive. I went to get an ultrasound done today because if I am pregnant I do not want to have this baby.(I know that sounds selfish but the situation I am in is not a good one) Anyway, my doctor took an ultrasound and saw nothing, so he did a vaginal ultrasound, still nothing except the fact that my left ovary was quite swollen and painful when he did the internal exam. Now my questions are am I pregnant for sure and if I am what are the chances of this being an ectopic pregnancy(because of the fact that he could not see anything and my uterus felt normal)Also, I have no other signs of being pregnant. I have a 22 mo. old and when I was pregnant with him I knew right away because I didn't "feel" like me. I am always regular with my periods and I have had no other problems with my reproductive system. My doctor also said he wants to see me back in one week to see if he can see anything then and if not would it be safe to assume that it is a tubal pregnancy? Thank you ever so much for your input on my confusing situation. I appreciate greatly!!
