Dear Doc,

I am a 27 year-old woman carrying a first time pregnancy. I have had some bleeding a couple of times but ultrasound shows that all is intact. The last ultrasound was however scary as it revealed a 6.3 x4.9 right ovarian mass. There was pain a week ago which however abated. Currently there is no pain, but my doctor says we should watch and see if the mass may resolve and also that the absence of pain presently may not warrant an immediate surgical intevention.

Please tell me if you think my baby and myself are safe. This is my first pregnancy and you bet this does not sound like the kind of thing one would like to hear barely four months into your first pregnancy!

I will surely wait for your reply. Comfort.
