Hello, I have been on a quest for my health now for 3 months and I am getting no wear. I originally started with pain in my right armpit and went to several physicians till I obtained the right answer and still no answer. I have a little vein cyst like nodule in my right armpit and have had chest x-ray and blood work and ultra-sound all normal. Still I get the answer from doctors that they are not concerned with it yet none of which have labeled the mass.(11 doctors). I am in constant pain and I do not know what to do I cannot see a surgeon for no one has referred me and yet the pain/mass exists. I have been told its a vein to a lymph node to fat but still no exact diagnosis. I feel as though I am getting tired and missed diagnosis and I do not know were to turn to. Should not every mass or cause of pain be evaluated? I do not know what to do and this has been going on for several months know and I would like your advise please. I went to a female doctor who specializes in womens issues and she felt the area and the mass and said its probably fat and not to worry. My main concern is that I have never had that there before and its quite painful and doctors are already talking about anxiety control. I have the mass its a surface mass in the armpit which almost feels like a cyst about nail size and then runs into a vein in the armpit. Please I need some help and I would not be surprised if its know turned into a nervous break down. Thanks for your reply in advance and all the information on armpit lumps and how doctors can determine they are benign is of great help. PS why do you think the ultra-sound did not pick this up?
