For me it has sometimes taken up until two weeks after finishing the provera before i bleed. On occasion i have bled before finishing the provera but that is rare. My doctor told me as long as i bled within two weeks of completing the provera it is considered okay. I belive the idea of the provera is too give you a withdrawl bleed. Meaning the provera raises your progesterone level and then when you stop it the level drops and that induces the bleeding. mj
