abnormal bleeding please helpFrom: Deborah (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 30 Apr 2001 12:55:27 -0500 (CDT)
I am a 45 yr old women who had abnormal bleeding back in Jan with two periods 12 days apart after having a yeast infection. I had a pap, endmetrial biopsy, and transvaginal ultra sound. biopsy was normal, ultrasound showed 3 centimeter fluid filled cyst and pap came back with reactive cells repeat in 3-6 months. I had a repeat ultrasound and cyst was gone. Had a repeat pap and it was normal but told to repeat in 6 months. This month I started my period on the 18 it lasted 5 days and was lighter than normal at the end. At the end of this period I was traveling over seas and under a great deal of stress "Airlines lost luggage etc. as a result I became ill with a really bad respitory cold. I have returned home after an equally disastrous flight and now have started my period again on day 13 should I be alarmed and going back to see my dr or just consider this due to illness and stress and wait to see what happens next month. I have had normal months in feb. March and april.
