Open sore on breast

I have a couple of infected hair follicles that have gone haywire on one breast because of rubbing from my bra and other breast. They have now become open, crater-like sores. Do I need to treat these any differently than other sores since they are on my breasts? I have been using neosporin and bioclusive dressing during the day to stop the rubbing. They aren't getting worse, but not really better either. At what point do I need to get professional help treating these things? Do I need to see the GYN since it is my breast, or can regular NP or Internist manage?

Thanks, A.
