I'm sorry for your trouble and pain. Getting yet another opinion might be wise before such serious surgery. If surgery is inevitable, you might like to talk with other people with infertility. Many of us find this type of mutual support helpful, and you can also learn about alternative ways to have a family of your own. RESOLVE is a national organization for mutual support for infertile families. For information, ask your GYN if there's a local chapter. Good luck.
