DepoProvera and return of Period

Hi Drs.....

I had my last injection of DepoProvera August 2, 2000. I did have a period on November 2, 2000, and then another one January 2001. I am about 3 3/4 months since my last period. I actually thought since I had the period in November and then January, things were starting to straighten out. I have never been regular and at times have needed Provera to jump start my period. I haven't gone this long. I've gone close to three months or right at three months, so this is why I am asking.

Is this from the DepoProvera? If so, is there still the protocol to take Provera to get things moving (I've always been told more than three months in between periods, needs to be jump started with Provera. I do know this is not the case when you are taking the DP). Wouldn't the DP be out of me by now?

Hope this makes sense. I did go through the archives, but couldn't find anything specific.

Thanks!
