Two different diagnoses....From: Angel (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 25 Apr 2001 21:33:59 -0500 (CDT)
I had a laparoscopy almost a month ago and the Gyn. said that I have varicose veins on the lining of my uterus (pelvic congestion) and this was the cause of the pain that I have been in. He wanted to give me "trigger point injections" to see if that helped. After research and thought I decided to get a second opinion. Well the Gyn. that I saw yesterday is convinced that my pelvic pain is not pelvic congestion, but rather a pinched nerve in my lower back. I am not having back pains, but he said that it could still be the cause of the pain and he referred me to a chiropractor. I am not sure where to go from here, I am still in pain and very confused. Do I go to yet another doctor? Do I get the injections, or go to the chiropractor? At this point I am willing to try just about anything, as the pain is seriously interfering with my life. Thank you, Angel prpl_piglet@angelfire.com
