I am 34 (3 kids). Two months after my last child was born in May of 99 my body and life changed. My symptoms are: fatigue, joint pain, no libito, brain fog, tingling sensation on head, sick to stomach, dizzy, weight gain, depression, poor memory, irritab;e, urge incontinince, insomnia, hot flashes, uncontrolable cravings for carbohydrates, dry skin, hair change, cold all the time. Some days I can't even get out of bed. I found a doctor who has been treating me for perimenopause with compounded progestrone. She sais I don't need estrogen because I get regular periods. It help all of the symptoms except fatigue for 6 months. Now it is not helping at all. One doctor said it may be hypothyroid. I have a goider, and sist in my thyroid but my blood tests for every thing have come back normal. I have seen 15 of so doctors in the last 22 months. Nobody knows what it is. Today I saw another doctor who said since I have regular periods I can't have a hormone problem and the progestone relief was all placebo! And as an added bonus he said I have uterine prolapse and will need a hystorectomy some day. He suggested an endrocronologist could help(I've seen several already) My body is falling apart. It all must be related but what the blazes is it!!! I was a very heathy, active, normal person before this happened.
