? about conversation had with my dr (for drs only)

Good afternoon drs,

I've been thinking again about a conversation I had with my dr last year in regards to trying to lose weight b/c I'm going to be starting the Zoladex soon. When I talked to her last year about my inability to lose weight b/c of the PCOS and so she put me on Spironolactone (50 mgs) of it and that has helped some of the water retention.

Well, when she asked me what I had in mind as a weight goal I told her 125 maybe 120. After figuring out my BMI (not sure how to do the calculations myself) she told me she wanted me to try to get down to 130. I am going to ask her when I see her why but in the mean time I thought that I would ask you all what your thoughts were.

Would I have more problems physically if I were to try to get myself down to 125 or even 120? If there would be a problem of some sort what particular problems might my dr be concerned about that would make her say that she wants me down to 130?

I'm 29, 5'1 1/2" tall. I don't know if my body frame will be necessary for answering this question but I'm guessing that my frame is small.

One other thing that I want to ask is what will I need to do to try to keep from gaining weight while on the Zoladex?

Thanks for your time.
