tilted uterus? For more information on symptoms and treatment of endometriosis visit www.EndometriosisZONE.org. From: anonymous@obgyn.netFri, 20 Apr 2001 19:32:23 -0500 (CDT)
I am 39 years old,and have always had a tilted uterus (backwards),I use tampons, and have, since my teenage years. I have never had any problems at all with the tilted uterus. When I use to insert the tampon,I could feel it going in and then tilting backwards, but now I notice that when I insert the tampon it goes in and it tilts to the left of my body, not toward the back as it did all those years. Could this be a problem? Does the uterus move in different positions? Also,my last two periods have been very unnormal......I will bleed for 7 days (fresh red blood),then be off for 2 to 3 days, then back to heavy bleeding again for a week, and then off for 2 to 3 days, then bleed for 3 or 4 days, this time it looks like old blood. I can't get in to see my gynecologist for a couple of months, but I am just worried until then. Any help in putting my mind to ease would be appreciated.
