Hi. I posted this question 2 previous times but have not gotten an acceptable answer. I am trying to find our if "Gonal-F" causes birth defects, and if it does what types of birth defects.

One of the doctors tried to answer this question, but did not know what Gonal-F was. It is an injectible gonadotropin-- chemical name of Follitropin (I believe it is in the HMG category). It is used to stimulate ovulation and usually leads to the development of multiple follicles.

Could someone please really try to answer this question. Thank you.
