'bumps' in vaginal walls? Please respond~From: joyce (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 19 Apr 2001 19:50:38 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I have a lap scheduled for early June. I am concerned because recently even though my pap came back noraml, Today I noticed one lump on the right wall of my vagina and one lump on the left wall. It feels like a pencil point poking through-but no head like a pimple would have. Just "sharp bumps". The one on the left side is now larger and does not feel like a "pencil point" any longer. It feels similar to the ganglion cyst I had on my foot, but not quite as hard. And it doesn't move when I push on it or touch it. I am scared. Can they find the cause during the lap? When I told the dr about the one I knew of at the time, he said he couldn't find it. Now that is the one that is larger. Should I ask him for another exam before the lap? He is doing the lap to rule out endometriosis. All the blood work camr back normal. Wouldn't blood work show cancer cells or white count up or something if I truly had anything to worry about? Thank you!!!! And I really appreciate you people taking time out of your busy lives to help all of us!
