recurrent pregnancy lossFrom: akhita (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 19 Apr 2001 02:25:16 -0500 (CDT)
I am 28 years old and have sufferred 3 pregnancy losses in the past 3 years. After the first 2 losses in the first trimester I was diagnosed with anticardiolipin antibody and treated withn low dose asprin before concieving. After conception I was hospitalised adn treated with low dose heparin injections daily. The pregnancy successfully continued till the 17th week. After which there occurred a sudden fetal loss the cause of which was unknown because the antibody levels were low, the baby was fully grown without any abnormality. What are my chances to have a baby with moderately positive antibody levels and how should I continue with the treatment. Does the treatment remain the same? I am in a wrecked mental state of mind and am confused if at all my future pregnancy will be fruitful?
