Pain during arousalFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netTue, 17 Apr 2001 15:16:02 -0500 (CDT)
Around January of this year I started to notice a short-lasting pain---much like a cramp--during arousal. The pain lasts about 2-3 minutes and disappears once I'm fully aroused. I feel it both in my vagina and anus. In January, I was diagnosed with severe dysplasia both on the surface of the cervix and endocervix. I had a cone biopsy shortly thereafter. The biopsy indicated that the doctor perhaps did not remove all of the abnormal tissue. Meanwhile, the pain during arousal persists. My question: is this pain likely related to the dysplasia and the fact that there is more in there or is it potentially something entirely different?
