mucous plug? I am 40 weeks pregnant and yesterday after wiping myself, I found thick, yellow discharge on the toilet paper. Not to be gross, but it looked like blowing your nose after having an awful cold. No blood in it though. I was a bit crampy for a little while afterwards, and had intense non painful contractions later that night. Was this my mucous plug? And how soon after you lose it do women usually start to labour?
