A questionFrom: R. Colburn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 13 Apr 2001 12:40:39 -0000
Hello, I don't know if you answer questions this way or not. My daughter, 29, is in Amsterdam going to art school on scholarship and she is having trouble getting referred to a woman doctor. Her symptoms of pain in her ovaries, mood-swings and spotting one week after her period were dismissed by the doctor she saw and was told to take birth control pills. Is this a reasonable way to treat something like this? Since she sees a doctor connected to the school, she can't seem to get any better help. Thanks for any help you can suggest.
