Montgomery, MD: "Re: Heavy Bleeding" Hi, I recently put an ad in here about dysplasia. I guess I have more questions that I thought. I am in the middle of my month of birth control pills....these pills work great with me. I started to bleed, heavy blood clots very dark in color on Sunday. On Tuesday I went too the doc, my blood level is quite low & iron also. Still bleeding & very tired. I was told to continue taking birth control & take a premarin everyday also. I have until Monday to stop bleeding. If not....then going to surgery. My question is every female in my family has had to have an emergency hystorecomy because of bleeding (endometriosis). Is this hereidtary....is there a good chance that on top of having dysplasia I also have endo? Please help.
