Just had a second abnormal pap smear within 4 months.... I had a pap smear in November that showed atypical cells. My doctor did a follow-up pap in March, and I just found out that it was abnormal as well. I am going in for a colposcopy next week. My question to the doctors: In your experience, approximately what percentage of the colposcopies you perform turn up something other than dysplasia?
