Janice, I am sorry that you had a bad experience with your first exam. I don't remember mine being painful at all. I was 16 and a virgin when I had my first gyn exam.So I wouldn't say that ALL first gyn exams are going to be painful for EVERYONE.again I am sorry that you had a bad experience
