Next time you go for a pap test, have only the pap test and not the pelvic that they do afterwards as a general rule. That might be part of your problem. You can have just the "pap" and not the "pelvic" if "you" want! It is Your Body! Depending upon who and how the pap is done, it is painful for a lot of women. Try having just the pap and skip the pelvic and you will skip some pain and discomfort also. Good Luck next time you go!
