Mammograms are usually not done on 30 year olds without a family histroy
because of dense breasts which reduce accuracy of readings.
With that in mind, recurrent complaints may require that you get one.
Since the consensus seems to be orthopedic, if I understand correctly,
I'd make an appointment with an orthopedist to evaluate the armpit and
the musculoskeletal environment surrounding the area of complaint.
Hope this helps and write back anytime for more information.

I can not recal exactly when it occured but I have had it know for a good 5 weeks ranging from mild to quite painful. I would like to discribe the pain its like a burning feeling. I have seen various doctors to get a opinion. Thus far they have said they do not feel any swollen lymph nodes and that its probably a muscle. I have tried everything from not shaving and try not to think of the pain. Its seems the more I think about the pain the more I want to touch it to make a self diagnosis and I think I may have injured it more by touching it constantly. I keep telling my self I will not touch it but I do not firmly but I am just checking. I guess I am so afraid of being missed diagnosed that its made me anxious. I also do not have a family physician and go to walk-in clinics as at this
> time no one is taking new patients. I guess my main concern is could it be cancer in the lymph/ breast area? I have has a ultra-sound of my breast 6 months ago and all as well as well as clinical breast exam 3 times this month. I just need to know what I should be doing so that I can get the right anwers and not feel so anxious. My main concerns are:
