What does DHAES do anyway????

I keep missing my cycles, so I had blood work done by my obgyn. I was told by his nurse today that my DHAES was a little high but nothing else seemed to be wrong. (It was 309)She added, "at this level usally nothing is done, and since it is not elevated with anything else, it's sometimes thought to be a lab error!!??" (I will be speaking with the obgyn he just wasn't in today).--- I almost never go to the doctors but lately I feel there's something wrong. It started A year ago. I went to my regular doctor and I was told my biliruben was high but he couldn't find anything wrong so, he dismissed it as genetics (his answer bothered me because, it had never been high before). I kind of wonder now if one, has anything to do with the other? My other symptoms include some small pains in the middle of my stomach, eyes always look tired and worn, skin looks puffy, more then normal hair growth on face, hair on head very frizzy, I get my cycle about once every two months and am very uncomfortable in-between (tired and really, really bloated). I am 36. I haven't talked to the obgyn doctor yet about the blood work, just his nurse. I'm looking for back up information for when I speak to him. I will be grateful if you have any!!!! Sincerely, Donna P.
