Vaginal cancer is extraordinarily rare. What you are describing is probably hymenal remnants, which are the normal leftover areas of the hymen. Lots of women look "down there" for the first time with a mirror and come to the office in tears, fearful that they have cancer, genital warts, or some other illness. It is possible that these areas represent normal skin, or genital warts, or an infection. It's a million-to-one shot that it's vaginal cancer. I'm sure your doctor will let you know the answer during your biopsy. Best wishes,

DAH
