Good afternoon Drs., I have a very complicated case , I will try to make it as brief as possible. LAVH and LSO 4/98 for Heavy bleeding and pelvic pain in lower left quadrant, Laporoscopy -11/98 Severe Adhesions Laporoscopy-4/99 Severe Adhesions Laporoscopy RSO 11/99 No adhesions Diagnosed with endo. on lower bowel and in the cul de sac , but Dr. did not remove it, instead chose to leave it and with hold HRT for 3 months to allow endo to die off. Pain still perstists, I have had 2 colonoscopies, a cystoscopy, an MRI a couple of CT scans, several ultrasounds.Did Lupron 3/99 for 4 months first 3 months were hell but then all symptoms stopped, levels were checked and it was found that I was producing estogen. I am currently doing an aromatase inhibitor treatment using a medication called Arimidex. AT first it was working wonderfully , I started the treatment in September 2000 and by Nov. I was off all pain medications, But around Christmas the pain started to return . My Dr. had been checking my levels all along and as the estradiol increased so did the pain. I am now on a double dose of the Arimidex and right away my levels went from 143 down to below 15 but 2 weeks later they were retested and they were up to 175!

My Dr. has discussed my case with a Dr. from Yale and it was suggested that possibly using perganol to find an ovarian remnant. My question is. If this is the course we take, Once I am on the perganol how long would it be before the remnant could be located if there is one?Sorry this was so long and thank you for your time Peggy
