Re: Is it reall abnormal, Dr. Lynn or any doc. From: Robin (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 29 Mar 2001 08:58:34 -0600 (CST)
Hi Dee, Something I have learned on this board from the great docs that answer daily is one period that is out of the ordinary for you doesn't necessarily mean there is a problem. If it continues for several cycles, then it is something that should be investigated. I've also learned that clots can be normal. The size does make a difference though. Are you talking about gumball size, the size of your fist, or in between? For me, I will clot mostly in the morning...or should I say, pass them. I was told it is from the blood pooling in the top part of my vagina while I am sleeping. After I get up, and move around a bit, the clots pass. Glad to hear you are going to have things checked with your Dr. If for nothing else, peace of mind! Don't worry about how many questions you ask. That is what this board is here for.
