Kelly Shanahan, MD, : "Re: 2 months postpartum and still bleeding" I gave birth to my 3rd son Jan. 20th which was alittle over to months ago and I am still passing tissue. I never had this with my first 2 children. Everything seemed to be going normally until my 3rd or 4th week postpartum when instead of my lochia diminishing, it turned dark brown and thick. It's not an extremly large amount of tissue. I don't need to even change my sanitary napkin during the day. It is thick like a thick mucous and I am very scared. I missed my postpartum exam due to a storm and don't go back for 2 more weeks. I don't know what to do.I am in search for some helpful advise. Next message: Holly: "Re: HCG levels = miscarriage?"
