Reoccuring urinary track infection

I have been diagnosed with urinary track infection at least 10-11 times in the past year. Lately I have noticed a progression in this pattern i.e. I have it more often. I do not practice anal sex, like one of my doctor sugested to me as a possible cause. I really can not point out one pattern of the way I live or eat that would cause sy infections. I do not have a doctor that I see regulary, thus I am never followed up. I am concerned about this affecting in the long run my kidneys. It is getting also very frustrating to go through this same routine everytime when going to the doctor to get some antibiotics...I am also scared that in the long run I would become immuned of the antibiotic...i.e. they would no longer help me. Can someone suggest if there is something I can do...

sincerely,

TYL
