Your situation sounds terrible. I'm sorry for your trouble. I am guessing that you suspect that the hysterectomy is the reason for your symptoms. I often hear patients say, in one context or another, that they were "tested for everything," but 1) that's simply not possible and, 2) not every disease or disorder has a blood test that will make the diagnosis obvious. Working closely with a trusted primary health care provider is important in a case like yours. Until you can get to the root or roots of your lowered health status, I have some suggestions to make. -Take every step possible to improve your existing health status by ensuring you're getting adequate sleep. (Most people need 8 to 9 hours. Many women don't get nearly that much.) -Talk to a registered dietician about your current eating habits and how they might be improved. -Take steps to get good stress relief by whatever mode you choose (meditation, prayer, tae bo, chopping wood). -And, lastly, increase your level of activity, choosing a program in conjunction with your health care provider. Taking these steps will probably not provide a cure, but people with health problems that are difficult to diagnose often find it helpful to increase their strength and resilience to deal with their symptoms more effectively. I hope you feel better soon.
