Montgomery, MD: "Re: Natural induction" I am 37 weeks pregnant, EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and very anxious to have this baby! My OB appt was today, my cervix is long and closed, baby head down and high. Does this mean I will probably go late as I did with my first child? My main question is, what is the most effective way to induce naturally? I asked my OB, she said to ask the midwife, who was out today.I am not a high risk pregnancy, everything is going well so far.
