If you are at all concerned, then by all means, go get this checked out. If the nurse told you to go to the ER, go. If you just don't want to, then wait until tomorrow morning and go in and see the Dr.

I don't understand what you are saying when you say the spotting is only coming from the side the cyst is on. If this is vaginal spotting, how can you tell?

You do sound anxious, and that is very understandable. It might help for you to get reassurance. You might even call your Dr. tonight and discuss this with him if you are worried.
