Yes. Although tubal sterilization is highly effective, there IS still a risk of sterilization failure. The risk persists for years after the procedure and varies by method of tubal occlusion and age. (Am Journal Of Obstet Gyn 1996;174:1161-70.)

I assume that the "injections" you mentioned refers to IVF (in vitro fertilization). In IVF, the egg is fertilized with sperm in the lab (outside your body) and then put into your uterus or fallopian tubes. If your tubes have been tied, then the fertilized egg will be put into your uterus. By using IVF method, you don't have to undergo another surgery to reconstruct your sterilized tubes.
