Went to the doctor and still confused...

It's me again...I went to a doctor this morning and they did a pregnancy test and a quick sonogram. I'm not pregnant. But they are unsure of what the pain is from. (It's on my right side near pelvic bone, not left. :)) They just gave me a prescription for an antibiotic and said come back in a week. The doctor's guesses ranged from ectopic (most likely not) to appendix to maybe an infection? At first the nurse noticed something on the sonogram (a curious spot) but sort of breezed over it...and didn't mention it to the doctor when he came in. (I felt kinda rushed so I didn't worry about it.) He did a quick pelvic and said yup, your tender, but short of that seemed unconcerned. Should I be a little less concerned? And should I take the antibiotic, when he isn't sure that I even have an infection? I don't have the money to run out and see another doctor, but he didn't narrow it down any more than I have on my own.

Thanks again, Amy
