I too have had a miserable experience with the Depro. I had my first and ONLY shot of it in June of last year. I was given the shot for severe anemia and the doctor was hoping to stop my period and buld my iron supply up a little along with mega doses of iron supplements (I suffered very heavy periods for years and they felt this was hindering my iron buildup). Well, it DID stop my period the second month, but I was horribly ill with it and decided the effects were not worth it so I never had a second shot. Ever since, my period has been screwy. I just finished a 31 day period, granted, I bleed heavy for the first 22 days then spotted the remainder, but it is aggravating none the less. This has gone on since last year and I am at my witts end, how can I ever concieve again if I am ALWAYS in my period!!!! I too was told by my doctor this was normal behavior effects FROM THE SHOT! My opinion, that stuff is poison for some but probably perfectly fine for others. Debbie
