My problem is; I have learned that most birth control pills contain the same dosage of hormones in each pill. Why is it that on the week of my last set of white pills, the week before my period starts, I have symptoms of PMS? These are major symptoms such as extreme breast tenderness, extreme moodiness, etc. Theses symptoms have gotten worse in the past 6 months. It was always my understanding that hormones kept this from happening. I thought maybe when I would start on the green pills I should feel some kind of PMS symptoms due to the drop in hormones not the week before. Why is this happening to me? It is so unbearable I can hardly stand it.
