I am 29 and I have been having pelvic pains for about 6 months now and my dr. has been trying all kinds of things to figure out the problem. We have discussed adenomyosis. I just had a d&c last week and unfortunately I am still having the sharp pelvic pains. My Dr. did a sonogram and he found that the lining in my uterus is 14mm, and that was done three days after my period ended. I will be seeing him next week to talk about this, but in the meantime I am wondering if the thick lining and adenomyosis could be connected. I also know I am too young to have to worry overly much about uterine cancer, but I just found out 3 women in my family had it. Should I be concerned about that yet?
