Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: abnormal bleeding" I've been spotting for 4 months straight. I was on Depo Provera for 3 years. My last shot was in the beginning of December, 2000. I missed one shot at the end of February. I started bleeding right before my shot in December and bled right through the 3 months of that shot's effectiveness and have kept right on bleeding. A nurse-friend says I need to go to an OB/GYN right away to get this treated. I'm going to make an appointment, but I don't have any health insurance. I just started a new job and won't have it for 90 days. I'm afraid they might need to do a D&C or ultrasound or something else that I'm just not going to be able to afford without insurance. What could this condition possibly be? And what kind of cost am I looking at without insurance? Next message: R.
