tumors and polyps and cysts - oh, my! a few more questionsFrom: Angie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 8 Mar 2001 07:10:23 -0600 (CST)
I wrote here a little while ago about my problems. Am getting my surgery date today for the lap, hysteroscopy and D&C. Have an enlarged uterus with numerous "densities" in the lining, intramural fibroids, ovarian cysts, polyps etc. I have two questions: my doctor and HMO (grr!) have taken since Sept. to get this far - could 6 months make a difference should any of these problems turn out to be cancer related? Also, I recently read of a correlation between babies' birth weights and the development of adenomyosis later. My babies weighed 9lb.3oz., 11lb.7oz., and 10lb.9oz.. No, I'm not huge - 5'11" and 166lbs. Has anyone heard of this correlation, could it have any bearing on my problems? I also had my tubes tied after my third. Sorry this is so long - thank you!
